I get where they were going on the back, it didn’t quite work out.

So, counting the casualties, that’s a ‘58 Lincoln, a ‘60 Cadillac, a ‘57 Cadillac(?) and IDEFK for the front bumperettes and partial rollpan.

If they would have massaged that area around the rear windows it would have looked nicer.

Is it better or worse in real life?

I........like it?
I feel really weird saying that, but it ain’t bad. Those wheels need to be replaced with some knock-offs, though. They are too boring under that twisted beast.

It’s almost there... but I think it shows exactly why most modern customs (and bolt on fiberglass body “custom” kits) don’t quite pull it off: The side glass and doors.
Swoopy bodies, or wings, or hooded headlights just don’t match the greenhouse shapes of modern cars. They never quite match up right.
Though I bet this would look much better as a charger.

Yeah the front almost works in a hot wheels kind of way, but the back is a Picasso masterfail

I’ve seen it too, multiple times. Guy brings it to the car show in Saugerties every July, has been parking it in the same spot near the M&T Bank for the last couple years now.
I’m shocked he’s selling it. He didn’t have the For Sale signs in the window at the show earlier this month.
Hopefully whoever buys it keeps the tradition, and that event organizers let the new owner get the same spot each year.
If not, hopefully I’ll see it again somewhere, and it will be missed.
That show seems to best starting to get slightly taken over by the local custom VWs. Saw a pair of lowered Jettas that were no more than 2 years old, and a customized ‘02 GTI the owner calls the ‘Creamsicle’. It’s even got CRM SCL plates on it. This one , to be exact. Car shows are starting to head away from strictly classic muscle and trucks to a more various crowd of enthusiasts.
Soon, the streets may be lined with lowered VWs and tuned up Skylines.
But, yeah...really surprised the ‘ol Cro-Magnum is for sale.

I saw it at the Syracuse nationals, among other cars that were famous.
